Each has a great deal of racing expertise and is one of those very few lucky individuals whose hobby has become their profession. Every spare minute is spent on the racetrack. And their passion is infectious. Each section of every course is preceded by instructions from the experts and while you are busy perfecting your driving skills, each one of your exercises is being monitored. This not only guarantees your safety, but also optimum learning achievement. You’re focused on the road ahead and our instructors are focused on you, providing you with direct feedback, useful tips and individual support – for an incredible training experience and lasting improvement.

Luke Youlden

Luke first came to prominence on the national racing scene in 2000 by winning the Australian Formula Championship in his rookie year. He was promptly promoted to a V8 Supercar endurance drive in the Larry Perkins Castrol team and went on to compete in 21 Bathurst 1000’s. Luke achieved 2 pole positions as well as podiums at the Sandown 500, Phillip Island 500 and Gold Coast 600 but the highlight was winning the Bathurst 1000 in 2017 with David Reynolds. Luke has been a professional racing driver since 1999 and has raced in every major National category both in Australia and New Zealand. Luke has a record of achieving a pole position and race win in V8 Supercars, Super 2, Porsche Carrera Cup, Australian GT, Formula Ford, Production Cars, New Zealand V8’s, NZ TraNZam and V8 Utes. 

Operating in tandem with his racing career Luke has had an extensive advanced driving training presence since his first day as a 16 year old trainee with Driveskill International in 1994. Years of service with every major manufacturer and driver training company in Australia as well owning and operating a stunt driving school opened doors to Porsche Track Experience where Luke has worked since 2005. Luke is certified by Porsche in Germany and holds the position of Chief Driving Instructor.

Christian D’Agostin

Christian, a seasoned race car driving instructor, joined Porsche Track Experience in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience from his 26-year career in driver training. His racing journey began at age 10 with karting and progressed through various disciplines. Christian raced a HQ Holden in 1994/95, won the Marque Sports Car Championship in 2000 with an AC Python Cobra, and dominated the Commodore Cup, securing Australian titles in 2000 and 2001.

He achieved a fourth-place finish at the 1998 Bathurst GTP 3-hour Enduro in a Porsche 911 993 RSCS and competed in six Bathurst 1000 starts, races between 1999 and 2005. Christian also participated in the American Le Mans Series and the Daytona 24 Hour. Transitioning to jetski racing in 2009, he became a five-time Australian Endurance Champion and claimed World and Asian Endurance titles in 2016.

Notably, Christian is the only person to have ridden a jetski non-stop across Bass Strait, completing the journey from Port Welshpool to Launceston in 6 hours and 43 minutes in 2011.
